Bassett Design Sticky (oracal) Vinyl Application Instructions
1: Clean the area thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or soap and water. Do not use Windex or similar products because it will leave a residue behind that will prevent the sticker from adhering well.
2: Prepare the sticker for application by firmly rubbing a squeegee, tongue depressor/popsicle stick, or credit card across the clear transfer tape. This removes any air bubbles that may have formed and makes the sticker cling to the transfer tape. Flip decal over and repeat on back of decal paper backing.
3: Peel the white paper backing off the sticker. If the sticker clings to the backing, slowly replace the paper backing and repeat Step 2.
4: Slowly lower the sticker onto the surface and rub it in place firmly with a squeegee, tongue depressor/popsicle stick, or credit card.
5: Slowly peel the clear transfer tape off at an angle. Be careful not to pull the sticker off the surface. If sticker pulls away from the surface repeat Step 4.
*Use a pin to poke any air bubbles in the center and push the air out through the hole.
*The recommended optimum temperature for applying graphics is 70°F.

Sticky vinyl REMOVAL instructions
- If you have one, heat the surface of the decal with a heat gun (hair dryer may work too). Then take (for painted surfaces) a Plastic removal squeegee (or for glass surfaces) a razor blade or your nails & scrape vinyl from the surface. (Note: if the vinyl is old & brittle, it will most likely come off in small pieces. If the vinyl is not that old you may be able to pull it off in bigger chunks.)
- Once you have peeled all of the vinyl off, you will have to clean the adhesive off the surface. For glass, a foaming glass cleaner or goo gone (or similar glue removal product) works great. For painted surfaces, you may need to get a special adhesive remover (if soap and water doesn't do the job).
- Clean the surface with soap and water then check to make sure there are no remaining pieces of vinyl or adhesive stuck to it.
- At this point, you are done. If you intend to apply new vinyl to the surface, be sure to clean it thoroughly, then wipe it down with alcohol to insure that none of the adhesive remover is left on the surface
